Thyroid: Thyroid hormones are produced by the thyroid gland to regulate metabolism. An imbalance in thyroid hormone can cause weight problems, lack of energy, changes in hair texture or loss of hair, mood changes, dry skin, too slow or too fast heart rate, palpitations, anxiety, tremors, heat intolerance, diarrhea, constipation.
